Reception and registration
The Danish Police and Immigration Service operate at the centre. New applicants are received here and given information about the next steps.
Support on site
The Danish Red Cross provides basic humanitarian support and offers an initial health screening.
Onward accommodation
After the initial reception, a person may be referred to another centre or municipality. The responsible authorities make the individual decision.

Ukraine to Sandholm ticket price
A ticket to Sandholm costs €250 per person. This is the fixed price for the route to the centre. Up to 40 kg of luggage is included; extra suitcases, boxes or bulky items must be agreed separately.
Reclining seats on services to Sandholm
Some services to Denmark use wide reclining seats with footrests. Vehicle equipment varies, so please ask the dispatcher to confirm a recliner for your selected departure date.

According to current Danish Immigration Service information, Ukrainians applying under the Special Act who need accommodation in the asylum-centre system may approach Modtagecenter Sandholm.
Can I arrive with a pet?
Pet transport with Kolumbus may be agreed in advance, but pets cannot be accommodated in the Danish asylum-centre system, except service dogs.
